I am Neyha Sofat, a British contemporary and figurative artist originally from Kenya . I paint my adventures (and some misadventures ) along the way .

Born into a family of artists , I knew early on I wanted in on this magic ...and indeed it has been nothing short than a magical journey .

I dig deep when I create - I paint from a place of least resistance and so it’s effortless. My artwork is inspired by my everyday surroundings with my painterly prospective “goggles”. My passion is transported into each and every piece created .

Art should have an immediate reaction on the viewer - a gut wrenching reaction -That’s the emotion I am after .

I try to make evocative and atmospheric art - I really want to transport you into the painting like you are already there .
