In my pictures I work with found photos or my own of people in certain
situations that seem like frozen moments of reality.
My oil paintings, sometimes with a broad brushstroke and the resulting blurring, sometimes
set sharp lines, I let new, interpreted by me and thus transformed
realities arise.
People, depersonalised, transport inner dialogue with themselves or a
counterpart.
By concentrating on the moment of pausing at a tense
balance point, I would like to create a suspended state for the viewer, which provokes questions from the
presented situation.
Images, fleeting and profane, seem silent as if from a film.
Due to the density of an atmosphere that arises when a certain movement is held,
I try to advance to this essential core of the moment in my paintings.
