• Maybe I have unleashed the wild and free spirit with this painting!! It did not start out textural - I was actually painting in the eye blur part … but then I thought why not add a three Dimensional component to this piece (with the textural paste , signature in most of my paintings) …. As though something really is obscuring her vision .
  
  The slightly open mouth perhaps suggest her restlessness or the maybe pleasure of the mystery or the ambiguity. It depends how you choose to see her .
  “Mars” ,aptly titled as she is bathed in vivid reds and scarlet oranges tones.
